Anthropic says the project will comply with UK data protection laws, give users the ability to manage and opt out of personal data usage, and follow a phased “Scan, Pilot, Scale” rollout. It is also collaborating with the UK AI Safety Institute for testing and evaluation, and embedding engineers alongside civil servants and Government Digital Service teams to build capability inside government.
